About Materials in Heartopia

Crafting materials are the building blocks of Heartopia's creation system. With 28 different material types obtained through chopping trees, mining rocks, foraging in the wild, and fishing, materials fuel your ability to craft furniture, tools, fences, and decorative items at the crafting workbench.

Materials are found throughout the map — wood from the Amazing Forest, ores from the Onsen Mountains, shells from Purple Light Beach, and herbs from various meadow locations. Some materials are common and easily gathered, while rare materials like Crystal Shards require dedicated mining in specific cave locations.

Gathering Tips

  • Upgrade your tools — better axes and pickaxes yield more materials per node.
  • Resource nodes respawn daily, so create a gathering route you can repeat each day.
  • The Amazing Forest is the best location for wood gathering.
  • Onsen Mountains have the richest mining deposits including iron, copper, and gold.
  • Store excess materials in your home storage for future crafting projects.
